  • Buttons Missing Between Version 6.0.3.135 and Version 6.6.0.237

My radio is an FT-897D and an FT-857D. I am missing a bunch of functional buttons between version 6.0.3.135 and version 6.6.0.237. How do I get my buttons back in the newer versions? I also have a power and other settings that are missing as well.
    Thanks,
    Larry K0LAI

I would suggest that you update to the latest version which is v6.7.0.277 and perhaps the hamlib has been updated to correct this. Those buttons are programmable from the Rig Control screen, RIGHT click and choose Customize.

Why doesn't everybody do this? It's so much easier than having to work through hundreds (or thousands) of log entries once or twice a YEAR.

I upgraded to the latest version but no additional buttons. There must be a way to copy the button definitions from the older version to the newer version. How to do that I do not know.
