  • Connecting To IC9700

Can I connect to my IC9700 over my LAN since the IC9700 has a built in server?

Not at the moment. But a direct IP connection to most all radios is on the horizon.

Thanks Mike --- if I could connect through the server it would simplify things a lot.
I did manage to connect to the IC9700 using the Icom Utility in their RS-BA1v2 software package over my LAN, however the HRD software hung up on me after a few moves. I was getting frequency and control information to and from the IC9700 before it took a spasm and froze. I also got the audio from the radio.
Seems close to operating this way.
Not sure if that was the way it was intended to operate.
