  • I type wrong call, then type new call to correct, does not change info in fields

Do I have my lookups not set right or something? This happens a lot, For example I think I hear the remote station tel me his call is one thing, I type it in and get populated fields. He then corrects me on his call, I correct the callsign and hit lookup but it does not change the populated items like name qth etc. I have to hit reset, then retype the whole thing back in.
Am I doing something wrong? I would like to simply change the letter or number in the call to correct, hit lookup and have it change all the other fields.
I was wondering if that is just how it is or am I doing something wrong?

This is a long standing problem with ALE. You have to RESET the form and then re-enter the call (copy and paste also works) and do a lookup by either clicking the button or tabbing out of the call field. Hope this helps.

Ok I found that if I correct the error in Callsign, highlight it and do a control X then a Control V it works without having to hit reset.
