  • copying Callsigns .

    Hi .
I HAVE just downloaded the latest HRD version and I find I cant copy any call sign into the box when answering CQ calls or copying the name of the other Ham into the box,
I have looked through the settings but cant spot anything that could help .
    Any advice please ?
    CHRIS.

    Hello Chris,

Need a little more information before advising a solution.

Which version of HRD are you using?

When you say you "can't copy" where are you copying from and what method are you using (CTRL C / CTRL V)?

I've just tried copying (CTRL C) a Callsign from a text file and pasted (CTRL V) into the HRD Callsign Field with no problems.

        Hi.
        Yes it's the latest version.
When a ststion is calling CQ, I used to be able to hold the mouse pointer over his callsign, click and it would be copied into the callsign field, the same with the name,
it has always done this but in newer version its not doing it.
        Thanks.

              I'll try it again.
I'm holding the mouse pointer over the incoming calksign and right click,
A drop down menu should appear with callsign, name, QTH etc, .. Left click on callsign and it would go into the box, same for the name.
              Unless I imagined it.

You are talking about DM-780 ...

Yes .... Right click on a decoded callsign (name etc.) Leftclick on the 'callsign' ( 'name' etc ) from the list and it populates that item in the DM-780 ALE window ... Works as expected ...

And you have to have Logbook running ...
