  • Logbook is not doing a lookup if an entry is coming from WSJT-X/JTAlert

The logbook is working fine. Also it works good connected to WSJT-X/JTAlert to automaticly add the WSJT-X QSOs. Only the lookup is not working if an automatic log from WSJT/JTAlert is coming. It looks up only if I type in a QSO and klick save.
Would be nice if the lookup would be done as well for QSOs coming from WSJZ/JTAlert.

    Any thoughts?

I noticed the same starting 7th February.

HRD also now doesn't populate the "Licensee" information in the Lookup pane, or in the Log Entry window.

As I understand it, JTAlert bypasses the Add Log Entry routine and writes directly into the database so no lookup is done by HRD. If you use the UDP in WSJT-x then the the ALE routine will run before data goes into the logbook.

One thing that I've noticed is that since QRZ updated (moved) their servers on or about 07 Feb, the XML Lookup is taking several seconds when before it was almost instant. I always watch for the update when ending a contact by WSJTx or on SSB manual ALE entry. It is taking 3-5 seconds now to populate the fields and sometimes, not all fields are populated on the first try, have to hit Lookup a 2nd time to fill out the rest.

Why doesn't everybody do this? It's so much easier than having to work through hundreds (or thousands) of log entries once or twice a YEAR.
