  • DM780:RTTY will not decode with FTdx-3000 in RTTY-LSB mode

I have a Yaesu FTdx-3000 using the latest version of HRD and DM780.With the radio set to RTTY LSB HRD will not decode RTTY. If I set the radio to RTTY USB it decodes. I checked in the Program Options and "MODES +IDs" and RTTY Tab "Reverse tones (USB RTTY)" is not checked. I actually tried to check it but it made no difference. I can use other RTTY programs with the radio in RTTY LSB with no issues. Any thoughts?

I have always used USB for data modes.

I likewise have always used Upper Side band mode .. don't know what happens inside DM (or the other programs)... It works both ways so never investigated ..

I use Data-USB on my FTdx3000 for digital modes on all bands. The only exception is WSJT-x where I use USB mode so that I can obtain 4K Rcv bandwidth.
