hello there may be efforts to implement the new mods such as ft8, jt65, jt9 etc in hrd de luxe. that would be a great Thing.

Doubt it.... Think they tried a few years ago and ran into licensing issues.... Plus, as easy as it is to interface WSJT-X or JTDX and JTAlert with HRD, there really isn't a need. (in my opinion)

I have been using JTDX and JTAlert for several years now... JTAlert automatically logs the QSO to HRD

well I just thought because it was also implemented in MIX version 4. Do these programmers have no license problems? but thanks anyway for the info. I also work with wsjx-t. only it is nice to have everything in one program. :-)

From what I remember........ It came down to a developer not approving their programming..... which is provided free to amateur radio operators, being implemented into a program that you had to pay for.

ok thanks for the info, but it is still a great pity, because hrd de luxe would make a step into the best digital software again.

Actually, I prefer the programs being separate. The development cycle for WSJT and JTAlert are much shorter. The developer group is better connected to the users and more responsive. I'm not dinging HRD, I'm a big fan, but it is a large program and changes come incrementally.
